This role contributes directly to the success of the ERP transformation program and is measured through:

  • Scope of Reports Supported: Cross-functional (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Operations)

  • Project Involvement: Participates in ERP implementation projects and ongoing reporting enhancements

  • Work Products: Number and quality of functional specifications, report prototypes, testing scenarios

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborates with functional teams, developers, and data governance leads

  • Success Metrics: User adoption rate, report accuracy, on-time delivery of specifications, rework rate

  • Scope includes working across multiple functional areas (Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Marketing & Logistics) and coordinating efforts with global and cross- functional teams.

Key Accountabilities (Expected Achievements)
  • Engage business users to elicit, document, and validate reporting requirements.

  • Analyze business processes to identify reporting needs, KPIs, and appropriate data sources.

  • Translate requirements into clear, complete, and testable functional specifications.

  • Collaborate with data developers and BI teams to ensure technical specifications align with business needs.

  • Support development and testing of reports by providing sample data, test scenarios, and validating outputs.

  • Maintain traceability from business requirements through to final report delivery.

  • Promote adoption of enterprise reporting tools by supporting training, demos, and knowledge sharing.

  • Ensure reporting complies with internal data governance, privacy, and security policies.

  • Computer science or Business degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong ability to understand business processes and articulate reporting requirements clearly.

  • Proficiency in navigating and interpreting data models, especially within SAP systems.

  • Skilled in writing detailed and structured functional specifications and supporting documents.

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in reporting logic, data integrity, and performance.

  • Team-oriented mindset to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and developers.

  • Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and completeness in report requirements and outputs.
