Are you a natural hunter—energized by targets, unafraid of cold calls, and driven to win? We’re looking for a client-centric sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets and building strong relationships. In this Inside Sales role, you’ll focus on new business development, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering exceptional onboarding experiences. You’re a confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment and is motivated by uncapped potential. Most importantly, you're aligned with our purpose : to change lives by propelling more students to—and through—post-secondary education successfully.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Generate new business daily through high-volume outbound calls, inbound follow-ups, and digital outreach.
  • Convert leads into clients using consultative selling strategies, delivering value-driven conversations that result in closed deals.
  • Own your pipeline from prospecting to follow-up to close using Salesforce to track progress and stay organized.
  • Build urgency and credibility through strategic messaging and objection handling.
  • Become a subject matter expert on Embark’s digital tools and confidently guide prospects through our offerings.
  • Engage with leads across multiple channels, including phone, video conferencing, and email.
  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to maximize conversion rates and continuously improve the sales process.
  • Follow Embark’s structured sales process and deliver a standout client experience from first contact to onboarding .

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by developing and closing new client opportunities.
  • Conduct targeted outbound calling campaigns and follow up on inbound leads from Embark’s website, marketing initiatives, and referral partners.
  • Manage lead flow and pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring consistent, timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.
  • Stay current on market trends and product knowledge to deliver tailored, relevant solutions to prospects.
  • Actively participate in training, coaching, and performance reviews to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory standards and Embark’s Code of Conduct.
  • Support operational improvements and process enhancements that contribute to a more seamless client experience.
  • Contribute positively to the team by sharing insights, supporting colleagues, and embracing a culture of performance and inclusion.

Preferred Assets :

  • Licensed by your provincial authority and recognized by the RESP Dealers Association of Canada
  • Bilingualism (French, Mandarin, or Cantonese) is a strong asset
