A leading hotel chain in Toronto seeks a Sales Manager to oversee sales team operations and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in marketing and 2-4 years of hotel sales experience. Responsibilities include training the sales team, developing client relationships, and implementing sales strategies to maximize hotel profits. A fluency in English is required, and the ability to handle physical tasks may be necessary.
This job is second in command in sales and marketing in a full-service hotel with a moderate range of facilities and catering and/or convention facilities and drives the sales effort. Typically located in an international location with extensive competitive pressure and operates in all market sectors. Manages a small number of professional level and administrative sales and catering employees.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, and 2 – 4 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting, with direct supervisory experience over a sales team, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
