We have a great career opportunity for someone looking to join a team in the growing healthcare field of sleep medicine. This is a full-time position. On the job training will be provided.

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing the following in person and virtually:

1. Education of Sleep Breathing Disorders to patients;
2. Explaining the use of CPAP/APAP devices and their accessories;
3. Selling required CPAP/APAP devices to patients;
4. Troubleshooting CPAP/APAP devices with patients;
5. Creating invoices, taking payment through point of sale (POS), and managing inventory;
6. Maintaining and obtaining medical documentation as per protocols;
7. Working with 3^rd party insurance providers to obtain funding for equipment;
8. Any other duties as assigned.
9. Opportunity to learn and conduct Pulmonary Function Testing, ABG and Home O2 set up.

1. Valid CARTA Registration
2. New Respiratory Therapy graduates are WELCOME to apply.
3. Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and Home Oxygen experience is an asset but not required; All RRT candidates are encouraged to apply.
4. Any experience in the sleep field is considered an asset.
5. Professional and friendly with strong customer service values.
6. Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Good listening skills coupled with great attention to detail.
9. Must be comfortable with hands-on patient interaction.

Job type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Pay: starts at $35/hour (rate may vary based on experience)
