A mental health organization in Lloydminster is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care to children and youth. The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and clinical experience in child mental health. You will be a part of a team that works within community schools, right where children live and learn. The CASA Classrooms program provides individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, medication management and schooling according to each student’s individual need. CASA Classrooms are CASA’s new model for school-based mental health service. The program is delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, community partners and school divisions.
Wage range: $44.03 to $56.50 + an additional $9 per hour CASA Classrooms premium
Vacation: 4.18 hours, accrued bi-weekly
Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day

Status: Permanent
Reporting to the Program Supervisor, the Mental Health Therapist works collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure success in the area of clinical service delivery. The mental health therapist will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide and to collaborate on treatment planning, intervention(s), and discharge transitions to the community/school with the child and youth and their family/guardians. The Mental Health Therapist adheres to the code of ethics and practice standards of their specific discipline, and applies the principles of evidence‑informed practice to all aspects of this work. The Mental Health Therapist nurtures collaborative relationships with community partners.
