The Cook's Helper prepares fresh, order-room-service menu items for patients, clients, and customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include ingredient control, measuring, portioning, and food production according to recipes, as well as adhering to cost control, safe food handling, therapeutic, allergy, and menu standards, and providing excellent customer service.

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Recognized Food Safety and Sanitation Course or willingness to obtain within six months
• One year of related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Organizational and prioritization skills, ability to work under pressure
• Physical ability to perform duties, including heavy lifting, standing, and working in heat and temperature fluctuations; ability to work weekends and rotating shifts
• Equivalent education and experience considered
• Additional language skills, especially French, are an asset

$21.59 - $23.99 Hourly
