An Indigenous support organization in Prince George is seeking a Cultural Support Worker to enhance cultural competence in initiatives related to healing and mental health. This role involves guiding diverse teams in Indigenous cultural practices and values. Applicants should have a certificate in cultural studies, a strong connection to Indigenous heritage, and experience in trauma-informed counseling. A flexible schedule of 25 hours per week with compensation of $30-32/hr is offered. Applications are due by February 5, 2026.

Cultural Support Worker

25 hrs a week (flexible schedule) $30-32/hr
You are knowledgeable and experienced in cultural protocols and Indigenous cultural practices. You will play a critical role, alongside the Cultural Advisor, in providing guidance on cultural practices, values and sensitivities to enhance the effectiveness of our projects and initiatives. You will work closely with diverse teams, clients, stakeholders and communities to ensure cultural competence and respect in all organizational activities.
Preference will be given to applicants of Canadian Indigenous ancestry. We encourage all candidates to self-identify. Our process is protected by the BC Human Rights Tribunal under Non-Profit Exemption.
