Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Client Support Worker located in Powell River, BC. We have funding for this position until March 31st. The Client Support Worker will be responsible for providing assistance to clients and implementing individualized support plans. Duties include offering emotional support, managing crises, maintaining safety and safeguarding measures, and facilitating access to relevant resources and services. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with other team members and professionals to ensure holistic care for clients.

Qualifications
  • A Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or a Protected Person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Registered or enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary education institution and are able to provide proof of full-time or part-time enrolment during placement
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Able to obtain a clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
