Return of Service (ROS): $10,000 to recent PSW graduates in exchange for a 12-month commitment to work full-time in a long-term care home or within the community.

Status: Part time (2pm-6pm OR 7am-12pm)

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

1. Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
2. RN or RPN
3. Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
4. Valid Developmental Support Worker Certificate
5. Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse, Physician

Requirements:

1. A valid driver’s license and vehicle.
2. Current CPR Certificate level C
3. Current immunization record (TB test completed within the past 12 months) is required upon hire.
4. Current vulnerable sector check screening is required upon hire.
5. Availability to work days OR evenings; including weekends.
6. This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
