A community college in British Columbia is seeking a Job Developer/Facilitator to support youth in career exploration through the Reboot-CEF program. This role involves facilitating workshops, providing individual coaching, and engaging with community partners to help marginalized youth identify sustainable career paths. The ideal candidate has experience in career development, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.
Location: New Westminster Campus. Salary Range: $30.91–$33.46 per hour (placement on pay scale based on qualifications and experience).
The Role: The Job Developer/Facilitator supports youth participants in Reboot‑CEF—a career‑exploration program for marginalized youth offered by the Training Group, supported by the Children’s Education Fund. The position involves helping participants identify sustainable, long‑term career paths aligned with their skills, interests, and life goals and delivering the Reboot curriculum to a cohort group. Reboot‑CEF is not an immediate employment program; it focuses on career aspirations, educational requirements, and strategies to achieve those goals.
This contract position is 40 hours per week at the New Westminster campus. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
