Location: New Westminster Campus
Salary range: $30.91–$33.46 per hour. Salary placement on scale based on qualifications and experience relevant to position.
The Opportunity
The Coordinator/Facilitator will support the successful replication of the Reboot Plus program by collaborating with partner colleges, school districts, boards of trade, and managerial partners (PEERs). The role includes coordinating replication activities, addressing partner inquiries, and facilitating one locally delivered Reboot cohort.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Coordination
- Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of Reboot Plus Replicate.
- Prepare reports for the Program Manager and funder as required.
- Maintain accurate program documentation.
- Support partner colleges in their engagement with school districts and boards of trade.
- Monitor curriculum adaptations for copyright compliance.
- Compile data and information for local and national team meetings.
- Partner Services
- Provide ongoing support to partner colleges for successful replication and delivery.
- Attend monthly meetings with partner colleges and managerial partners (PEERs).
- Assist partners in acquiring assessments and participant supports.
- Administrative Duties
- Represent Douglas College to community partners and stakeholders.
- Support the Training Group's Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Facilitation
- Deliver Reboot curriculum and career development workshops for one cohort (Feb‑June 2026), including:
- Hope‑Centred Career Development
- Skills for Success
- Orientation to Post‑Secondary Education
- Provide one‑on‑one coaching and referrals to community supports.
- Conduct post‑program follow‑up for ongoing career development.
- Coordinate informational interviews with employers and professionals.
- Organise guest speaker workshops featuring employers and community organisations.
- Participate in team meetings, strategic planning, and program reviews.
- Foster a respectful, collaborative work environment.
- Work with facilitators to accommodate participant needs.
- Contribute to ISO program guide development.
- Adhere to the Training Group's Quality Management System.
What It Takes
- Minimum 2 years post‑secondary education in social services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in facilitation, career development, and employment services.
- Knowledge of employment barriers for vulnerable populations.
- Ability to engage youth effectively in online and in‑person settings.
- Understanding of labour market trends and economic conditions.
- Experience delivering workshops to diverse populations.
- Proven ability to meet targeted outcomes.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to network with employers and professional associations; existing network is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet research, and social media.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to change.
- Willingness to travel within the Lower Mainland.
- Satisfactory vulnerable‑persons criminal record check (a record does not automatically disqualify applicants).
- Certified Career Development Practitioner and Skills for Success Practitioner Certificate.
Additional Information
This contract position is 40 hours per week located at the New Westminster campus. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am‑4:00 pm.
