Progressive Technology is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSW), Developmental Support Workers (DSW), Health Care Assistants (HCA), and Nursing Students to join our team. • Provide personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.

• Support clients with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of care.

• Monitor and document the clients physical and emotional well-being and report changes to the healthcare team.

• Assist clients in maintaining their personal hygiene and grooming.

• Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring clients feel respected and valued.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and health regulations as outlined by the employer and healthcare authorities.

• Assist clients with transportation, appointments, and other essential tasks.

• Provide respite care and support to family members of clients when needed.

• Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), Developmental Support Worker (DSW), Health Care Assistant (HCA), or currently enrolled in a Nursing program.

• Strong understanding of the needs of individuals in care, including those with physical and mental health challenges.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine desire to help others.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.

• Basic first aid and CPR certification (preferred).

• Valid drivers license (for positions requiring travel).

• Prior experience in a caregiving role is preferred, but not required.

• Experience working with elderly, disabled, or chronically ill individuals is highly desirable.

• Experience in a healthcare or similar environment is an asset.
