A regional health authority in Canada is seeking an experienced Surgical Care Nurse to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care for patients. The ideal candidate must hold registration with the BC College of Nurses and have relevant education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing. This role demands effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary health care setting, ensuring patient and staff safety is a priority.

Working as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Surgical Care Nurse functions as an experienced self-directed surgical care nurse by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceRegistration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; and
Post-basic education in surgical/ambulatory care nursing on a unit specific basis; or
An equivalent combination of education and training.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience on a unit specific basis.
