A healthcare organization in Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU/Pediatrics unit. The role involves planning and delivering direct nursing care to patients, ensuring safety and compliance with standards. Candidates must have a nursing specialty, CPR and NRP certifications, and at least two years of acute pediatric experience. This position emphasizes effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate, the Registered Nurse NICU/Pediatrics plans and provides direct nursing care to patients in the hospital in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice.
Graduate of a recognized neo-natal nursing specialty program. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Current CPR Basic Rescuer. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Knowledge of physiology and psychology of children aged newborn to 16 years and at least two (2) years recent (within the past 2 years), acute Pediatric experience and neonatal intensive care unit skills; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
