Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Canada is seeking qualified Registered Nurses for permanent positions within the ICU/High-Dependency Unit. The role involves providing critical care to patients, administering support as required, and participating in a training program. Qualifications

Position Details

4 x permanent posts, 37 hours per week, shift pattern 24/7 days and nights (rotational 12‑hour shifts, Monday to Sunday).

Responsibilities
  • Provide critical care to patients in the ICU/High‑Dependency Unit, caring for conditions ranging from single to multi‑organ failure.
  • Administer ventilatory support (invasive or non‑invasive) and provide cardiovascular and renal support as required.
  • Participate in the Competency‑Based Preceptorship Programme and, upon completion, undertake the Critical Care Course accredited by Glasgow Caledonian University.
Qualifications
  • Live NMC UK PIN and registration on the NMC Register; must be a Registered Nurse trained in general or adult nursing.
  • Evidence of professional development, basic IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a critical care environment.
  • Will provide evidence of current NMC registration prior to the start date as part of pre‑employment checking.
