School Bus Driver Trainer - Train & Mentor Drivers
Job summary
A transportation company in Canada is looking for a Full-Time School Bus Driver Trainer. This role comes with a $5,000 hiring bonus and is responsible for training new drivers and assessing their skills. The ideal candidate must hold a Class 1 or 2 driver's license with an 'S' endorsement and a Class 2S Instructor Certification. Ongoing training and classroom responsibilities are part of the job, as the trainer ensures drivers develop their skills effectively. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

- Must have Class 2S Instructor Certification.
- Must possess a clear 10-year commercial drivers abstract.
Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom sessions for new trainees.
- Assess driving skills daily.
- Evaluate on-the-road performance.
- Utilize TrackIt for training tracking.
- Be available for driver queries related to Training & Development.
- Cover any school route when needed.
