A healthcare organization is seeking a motivated Information Governance Administrator in Grimsby, Canada. This role involves supporting Subject Access Requests and ensuring compliance with data protection standards. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records and provide administrative support to the Information Governance team. Qualifications include a good general education with a focus on data protection and administrative experience. A competitive salary of £24,937 to £26,598 is offered based on experience.
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Digital, Systems and Insightsteam as an Information Governance Administrator. In this role, you will support Subject Access Requests and access to records, while also providing essential administrative support to our Information Governance team. You will help to keep information safe, accurate and well managed as well as ensuring the smooth running of our information governance and GDPR processes.
Please note the earliest start date for this position is 05th May 2026.
The Information Governance Administrator plays a key role in supporting the organisations information governance and data protection responsibilities. Working within the Digital, Systems and Insights team, the post holder will help process Subject Access Requests and other access to records requests, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR and NHS standards. The role also provides essential administrative support to the Information Governance and GDPR teams, including arranging meetings, producing minutes, maintaining action logs and managing the Microsoft Planner Board. The post holder will routinely handle sensitive information and must demonstrate accuracy, discretion and strong organisational skills.

As an Information Governance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's compliance with information governance, data protection and records management requirements. Working within the Digital, Systems and Insights team, you will provide administrative and operational support across the Information Governance function, ensuring information is handled lawfully, securely and in line with NHS standards.
This role contributes indirectly to patient care by supporting individuals' rights to access their information while safeguarding confidentiality and ensuring the safe, effective and lawful use of health information.
