Caregivers are members of the home care team who work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and perform various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care‑plan
- Documentation/Charting
- Certification not required
- Valid driver’s license in BC
- Proof of Insurance to transport client’s in vehicle
- Ability to drive clients for companionship
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign‑trained nurse, nursing student) – a positive
