Overview

Packaging Technician (Manufacturing)

This position is responsible for operating, maintaining canning, bottling, and kegging lines to ensure our World Class beer is efficiently packaged, while always adhering to safety and sanitation standards at the Windsor location.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, and provide support for, all bottling, canning, and kegging operations
  • Cleaning and sanitation of equipment including CIP of bright beer tanks and fillers
  • Perform regular and preventative maintenance on packaging equipment and end-of-day cleaning on all lines
  • Operate the keg racker
  • All work to be completed with an eye towards low TPO (Total Packaged Oxygen)
  • Accurately record and report packaging data into OBeer as well as Smartsheet
  • Work with the packaging supervisors to achieve all QC goals
  • Work safely and demonstrate cooperation with co-workers
  • Report any mechanical issues to packaging supervisors
  • Ensures all packaging tasks are completed safely, accurately and on-time
  • Have a passion for quality beer and quality workmanship
  • Operate a forklift safely
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Follow all safety rules and wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
  • All other duties as assigned
