Principal Product Manager eCommerce & Digital Consulting

(Remote from USA or Canada Monthly Travel Required)

Location : Remote (USA or Canada)

Contract Duration : 4 Months with possible extension

Travel : Open to travel once a month to client location in Texas or New York

ABOUT THE ROLE

Were seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead delivery and strategic planning across eCommerce and digital consulting engagements. You will be at the heart of a cross-functional client-facing team to build launch and iterate cutting-edge digital products. • Partner with clients and internal teams to translate business goals into product strategy and executable roadmaps.
• Lead requirements gathering, user story creation and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Create compelling product presentations, backlogs and value-driven roadmaps.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for user stories, acceptance criteria and technical documentation.
• Leverage strong analytical skills to drive data-informed product decisions.
• Guide product owners to define UI/UX journeys, business rules and detailed technical handoffs.
• Coordinate delivery with cross-functional Agile teams ensuring iterative product releases.
• Host effective stakeholder meetings, defining agendas and tracking outcomes.
• Champion client satisfaction, building long-term partnerships through excellent communication and delivery.

• Product Management (5 years) in eCommerce, marketing or digital consulting
• Deep understanding of Agile / Scrum, Waterfall and SAFe frameworks
• Proven experience in road mapping, backlog management and prioritization
• Strong command of Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO) and related PM tools
• Proficient in Office 365 (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Working knowledge of platforms/tech like Java, SQL, Visual Basic, Magento, AEM, Drupal, Shopify, PHP, Ruby
• Excellent skills in requirement elicitation, story mapping and acceptance criteria definition
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective in remote collaboration with global delivery teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience working in digital-first agencies or global consulting firms
• Exposure to global delivery models
• Ability to travel if required (up to once a month)
