The Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a two (2) year structured learning and development program for select new graduates who are hired into the ASR Group Engineering team.

We are looking for entry-level engineers in the following disciplines: Mechanical, Mechatronics

• Develop multi-discipline (chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial or electrical) proficiency during the program
• Assist in planning and executing major equipment overhauls and preventive maintenance programs
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce production losses from equipment breakdowns
• Monitor equipment performance and identify reliability issues
• Design and develop capital projects for installation of new systems to improve reliability
• Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects
• Supervise contractors ensuring safety and quality procedures are being adhered to
• General electrical troubleshooting & equipment (starters, VFD, Soft starts & breakers)
• Time Management: Having the ability to manage and monitor a large number of projects to completion.
• Critical thinking and problem solving: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Communication: The ability to effectively and clearly communicate information and ideas.
• Self-starter: Have a strong sense of urgency and is deadline-oriented. The ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
• Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills, and oral/written communication skills.
• Interest in pursuing a career path as a leader in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to write clearly and accurately.
• Prior related internship experience is a plus

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 0 - 2 years of professional work experience (including internships and co-ops)
• Validated leadership experience through extra-curricular activities, employment and/or internship experiences is required.
• Strong academic record (3.0 GPA or better).
