In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and insurance industry clients to gather requirements, manage the product backlog, and lead the delivery of scalable, high-impact product features.

You are an experienced Product Owner or insurance professional with strong product delivery experience. You understand insurance operations inside and out and have a proven ability to translate complex client needs into clear, actionable product requirements. You enjoy working cross-functionally, managing agile product backlogs, and bringing scalable solutions to life in partnership with technology teams.

5+ years of experience in the insurance industry (Broker, Underwriter, Business Analyst, Product Implementation, or similar)

Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within a software development or insurance-focused organization

Strong understanding of insurance workflows, underwriting guidelines, and product configuration

Ability to create detailed user stories, workflows, and configuration logic

Comfortable managing product backlogs and sprint planning in agile environments

Experience working with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Miro, or similar platforms

Solid technical understanding of software systems, APIs, and product architecture

Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business needs

Experience facilitating UAT, product demos, and user training

Detail-oriented, with a high commitment to quality and meeting deadlines

Able to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and change management principles is an asset
