A leading software company offers a remote application testing position requiring at least 5 years of testing experience and familiarity with automated UI and API testing. Candidates will work primarily from home but may need to provide occasional onsite support in Edmonton. The role involves developing test plans, conducting various testing phases, and managing defect backlogs. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced testers looking to work in an Agile environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of dedicated application testing experience within the past 7 years.
- 1+ year experience writing and executing automated UI and API tests.
Responsabilités
- Developing and maintaining test plans, cases, and automated test scripts.
- Performing automated application testing on Learn Alberta and associated platforms.
- Conducting multiple testing phases: Functional, System, Integration, Regression, UAT.
- Validating requirements, user stories, and UI/UX designs.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Managing test data and defect backlogs.
- Producing status and progress reports as required.
