OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Pattern Maker to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Produce balanced patterns for properly fitting garments;
2. Participate in fit sessions with designers for product development;
3. Recreate desired look and proportions of requested styling;
4. Participate in all phases of the product lifecycle from development to salesman sample production to final production;
5. Assure clear and detailed specifications of construction methods and cutting guidelines;
6. Assure accuracy of the bill of materials;
7. Assure accuracy of the garment specifications and finishing;
8. Assure feasibility and efficiency of construction methods and give appropriate feedback when needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Fashion Design Diploma
2. 5-10 years of experience in pattern design for ladies’ apparel;
3. Knowledge of computerized pattern design, ideally using Lectra;
4. Strong knowledge of pattern theory and fitting corrections;
5. Strong attention to detail;
6. Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
7. Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner;
8. Bilingualism required, French and English
