We are looking for a candidate experienced in leveraging AI, including Generative AI (GenAI), to enhance engineering productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize workflows. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to integrate AI solutions into daily work processes, such as code generation, debugging, reviews, documentation, and decision support, to improve team efficiency. A proactive approach to exploring and implementing AI tools for innovation and streamlining development is highly valued.

The Technical QE Lead will work across agile teams to ensure they meet functional, performance, and coding standards. This role requires applying software engineering best practices to software quality testing, working closely with engineering managers, product owners, and team members to achieve and maintain industry standards.

What you'll do:

• Define quality testing standards and metrics for products and projects.
• Continuously improve testing standards, tools, and processes.
• Establish best practices for test coverage, automation, and testing lifecycle.
• Introduce AI-driven practices into QA processes.
• Coach and mentor development and QA teams on testing best practices.
• Communicate with stakeholders to review and agree on quality metrics.
• Ensure testing metrics are visible through reports and dashboards.
• Ensure development tasks meet quality standards via test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Develop strategies favoring test automation over manual testing.
• Maintain and expand automation frameworks and partnerships.
• Oversee test plan reviews with stakeholders.
• Cover various testing strategies: unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, etc.
• Serve as the point of contact for testing and quality escalations.
• Assist in creating QA objectives.
• Collaborate to improve CI/CD and deployment pipelines.

What you bring to the table:

• Experience managing distributed SDET teams.
• Expertise in manual and automated testing.
• Ability to explore and help teams adopt new technologies.
• Passion for AI applications in QA.
• Strong knowledge of the Test Pyramid and testing strategies.
• Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript and Python.
• Experience with test case management tools.

Must have experience:

• 6+ years in software testing and development.
• Experience testing high-traffic web UIs and APIs.
• Proficiency with Playwright automation framework.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for QA.
• Automation environment experience.
• Experience with test case management software.
• Ability to produce QA health reports with key metrics.
• Load testing experience with JMeter or similar.
• Experience working within CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of version control tools like GIT.
• Agile methodology experience.

Nice to have experience:

• Mobile web app testing (iOS, Android).
• Experience with BDD/TDD.
• AWS CodePipeline experience.
• Jira/Confluence familiarity.
• Kanban process experience.
• Hands-on with Datadog.
