Job summary
A leading health care provider in Calgary is seeking a Health Care Aide to join the team. This role involves providing ongoing care to clients, monitoring their conditions, and ensuring effective communication with nursing staff. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, relevant Health Care Aide program graduation, and be physically capable of lifting clients. This position offers a temporary part-time contract with competitive pay ranging from $20.77 to $26.02 per hour.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English is required.
- Physically capable of managing frequent lifting and transferring of clients.
- Active and current registration in the Alberta HCA Directory is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing client care as part of the interprofessional health care team.
- Monitor and report on client status and ensure communication with nursing staff.
- Deliver prescribed medications accurately as per policy.
