Job summary
A leading financial services firm in Toronto is seeking an Associate to support financial reporting and administration for Private Equity and Real Assets clients. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in fund administration, with a preference for Private Equity experience. Responsibilities include reviewing financial data, preparing reconciliations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working in the fund administration industry or audit.
- Private Equity or Real Assets experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review financial data received from clients and load into internal systems.
- Assist with setting up and reviewing consolidations through the investment structure.
- Process payment of fund expenses in applicable banking systems.
- Book journal entries related to cash payments and accruals.
- Prepare reconciliations of investments and cash.
- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
- Prepare fee schedules and ensure calculations comply with fund documents.
- Prepare investor allocations for NAV cycles.
- Prepare NAV packages and ad hoc deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients, banks, auditors, and property managers.
