A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Report directly to the Site Manager for projects and customer service needs.
• Lead and mentor a crew of 5+ Journeymen and Apprentice Plumbers on diverse projects and jobs.
• Install all materials, equipment, and systems in a proficient and correct manner to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Perform quality control inspections to exceed client expectations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Act as the right hand to our Foreman by planning and coordinating sub-trades and identifying efficiencies and cost-savings to maximize project success.
• Proactively manage on-site tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to help resolve issues.
• Ensuring installations comply with applicable codes and regulations, coordinating inspections as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's Operational Health and Safety Manual.
• Location of Current secured work : Burnaby, Vancouver, UBC, New West, Richmond, Bowen Island.
• Scope 60% plumbing and the other 40% is heating, cooling, hydronic systems (including industrial work).
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber on commercial sites.
• Previous experience as a Lead Hand or Working Foreman is considered an asset.
• Red Seal Plumber Certification.
• Positive and driven leader with experience managing small teams and projects.
• Proficiency in plumbing installations with some knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding and exposure to industry-safe work practices (safety is a priority for us!).
• Outstanding time and project management skills to complete work on time and within budget.
• Self-motivated with the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
• Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
• You bring solutions to any roadblock that comes up on the job.
