Job summary
A leading fitness organization is looking for a Group Exercise/Fitness Leader to deliver a remote fitness program to children across Canada and the United States. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Kinesiology or a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, certification as a Fitness Instructor Specialist, and experience teaching various fitness classes. The position offers a casual temporary contract lasting one year, requiring availability during late afternoons and weekends.
Qualifications
- Degree/diploma in Kinesiology AND/OR Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion.
- Certification in Fitness Instructor Specialist or Equivalent.
- Experience teaching fitness, aerobics, strength training, or similar classes.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and customer oriented.
- Experience working with children and young adults.
- Available late afternoon, early evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work independently and with computer software.
Responsibilities
- Administer a REMOTE fitness program through Zoom.
- Learn fitness program and administer to children.
- Documentation of class attendance and study.
