A leading retail company in Salmon Arm is looking for a General Merchandise Associate to provide excellent customer service and assist with stocking merchandise. - Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
- Cover an assigned area(s) on the sales floor.
- Zone assigned area.
- Move feature merchandise to its modular home.
- Work recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
- Assist with Front End coverage.
- Communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
- Contribute to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
- Stock merchandise/picks, Downstocks if applicable. Apply product protection when required. Set and complete modulars, including flex modulars and sets new shelf caps.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.00. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
