Our Client’s engineering team is seeking an outstanding individual to help lead development of new innovative software solutions. You should have the ability to consider the big picture and manage multiple priorities. Key responsibilities are working on architecture for new web projects and mobile apps as well as mentoring less experienced developers.

Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals. The ideal candidate is an intelligent enthusiastic individual with proven experience in web development and the capacity to envision innovative solutions.

• Work in conjunction with stakeholders, research and development team members, and to support our technology business decisions by assisting in product development and research concepts and initiatives.
• Take ownership of deliverables and provide leadership as a senior member of the team, resolving impediments and executing technical direction throughout.
• Identify/analyze system issues, estimate time, recommend enhancements and commit to a development plan.
• Assess other developers source code via pull requests for performance requirements, code quality and adherence to company standards.
• Improve the quality of all solutions by actively participating in the testing process through unit testing and bug fixes.
• Remain up-to-date in emerging trends in software development through education, advocating for their adoption where and when appropriate.
• Set and showcase high standards and act as a mentor by demonstrating and enforcing the right developer behaviors to ensure both quality and efficiency.
• Work with and write continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) scripts.

• University Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in web development using C# under .NET MVC or .NET Core MVC.
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with GIT repositories and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience writing mobile applications using React Native is an asset.
• Experience with MongoDb or similar no sql databases is an asset.
• Experience with event technologies is an asset.
