Job summary
A leading technology firm in Canada is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to enhance their team. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in Swift development, a strong focus on user interfaces, and the ability to communicate effectively with the Product Team. Responsibilities include coding, bug fixing, and implementing new features. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple iOS apps published in the Apple App Store.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Swift.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts.
- Experience in developing user interfaces with a focus on customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and code the base application, ensuring quality.
- Fix bugs and maintain the code for application updates.
- Contribute to technical designs for mobile applications.
Skills
Our client is looking for an iOS Developer to join their team.
Work on developing new features and enhancing existing features, bug fixes, maintaining / improving code coverage, modifying the code based on the ask / requirements, testing performance after coding, implementing API's, and creating common UI components. Work with business analysts for user’s requirements, and user stories, give story points for the tasks; work on git for code maintenance.
- Designing and coding the base application, ensuring the quality / code coverage of the Application
- Application, fixing and application bugs, maintaining the code, and implementing application updates
- Experience in modern deployments through a CI / CD pipeline
- Experience with threading, and performance tuning, consuming RESTful API's
- Experience with application interface guidelines
- Experience in developing features including automated tests
- 5+ Years of professional software development experience with Swift
- Experience contributing to technical designs and solutions for mobile applications
- Strong focus on user interfaces and a passion for great customer experiences
- Great communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to the Product Team
- A resume of contributions to multiple iOS apps published in the Apple App Store
- Experienced with MVVM design pattern
