As the asset owner, applies professional engineering expertise to the assets and systems in the designated discipline and supports the safe, reliable and efficient rail transportation service delivery within an integrated, multi-jurisdictional environment.
The competencies of this position would typically be acquired through completion of University degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, including a Professional Engineering Designation or eligibility to be registered with EGBC.
Requires 2 to 5 years of professional engineering experience, preferably within transit and a Rolling Stock or Rail Infrastructure environment.
The Systems Engineering department is responsible for Skytrain Asset maintenance and capital projects delivery, including Operation Technology network (OT) cyber security management, Systems Engineering management and OT network headend architecture and equipment management.
This position does not involve asset management and project delivery related to software development or information technology. Preference will be given to candidates who have strong technical knowledge with multiple listed systems, familiar with Cyber Security and OT network management would also be considered as an asset.
An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
37.5 hours per week.

This position works predominately on‑site.
The salary for this position ranges from $89,600 - $134,400 per annum. Actual salary offered will be based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the role.
