Job summary
A technology firm is seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer in Sherbrooke, QC. This full-time position requires expertise in electronic product development, analog and digital design, and PCB schematic tools. The engineer will design subsystems for helicopters, establish technical documentation, and support various project activities. We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.
- Location: Sherbrooke, QC
- Job Type: Full‑time
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid
- Define the objectives and constraints of the electrical projects under your responsibility in collaboration with the various stakeholders;
- Design electrical subsystems for the helicopter and control station in collaboration with other crew members and vendors;
- Establish the necessary technical documentation: requirements, interface documents (ICDs), analysis reports, test plan, procedures, etc.;
- Support the establishment and planning of development activities at all stages of the project;
- Support the manager by providing technical expertise on designs, time estimates, and products;
- Support other departments during product testing and production;
- All other tasks related to the position.
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- • Strong electronic product development experience
- • Experienced in analog and digital design, power distribution unit
- • Experience with PCB schematic design tools
- • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, RS‑232, etc.)
- • Experience in defining, developing, and executing tests
