Job Responsibilities:

1. Work on installation of HVAC systems in large residential homes and very light commercial facilities.
2. Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals.
3. Understand the layout of duct work systems and equipment; read blueprints.
4. Understand and install/work on replacement HVAC systems.
5. Attend team meetings as needed.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Must have current Connecticut D or S trade license.
2. Detail-oriented team player.
3. Critical thinking skills and good decision-making ability.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Employment/education will be verified.
2. This position requires a valid driver’s license.
3. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
4. Encon is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment drug testing.
5. Excellent attendance is an essential function.

Physical Requirements:

1. Able to work in a variety of extreme weather, hot and cold conditions.
2. Able to work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and crawl spaces.
3. Able to work safely at elevated heights such as rooftops, ceilings, and ladders.
4. Able to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
5. Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
6. Able to work off a ladder, sometimes at heights.
7. Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
