A global IT services firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in Java and Python to design and implement scalable systems for investment management in downtown Toronto. Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with Java and Python for backend development.
- 5+ years working with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- 5+ years developing and deploying systems on AWS.
- Experience in Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, or Risk Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end technology solutions in an Agile environment.
- Leverage AWS cloud services to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
- Manage structured and unstructured data to ensure accessibility.
- Identify and resolve data issues and inconsistencies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
