IN OFFICE POSITION

Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Effectively communicating insurance products and services to clients and prospects.
• Meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Insurance products and how they help people manage their risks.
• Administrative Duties.
• Marketing.
• Cold Calling, appointment setting, pivoting, and Leads Generation.
• Assisting clients in person by phone, email, and in-office with their insurance needs.
• Assessing risks and offering products and services to cover those risks.
• Answering questions about billing, claims, and changes to policies.
• Making modifications and updating current clients’ policies and reviewing clients' needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• OTL needed for the position
• Property and Casualty License - 1-3 Years Preferred - RIBO ACCEPTED
• Proficient in Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with customer service and administrative work preferred.
• Retail and / or customer service experience preferred.
• Outgoing and personable.
• Excellent communication, written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic.
• Diligent and hardworking.
• Proactive in problem-solving.
• Must have reliable transportation to Uxbridge, Ontario. (Location of Office)
• Ability to make monthly goals.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

This is a Full-time position within a Desjardins Insurance Agency in Uxbridge, this is not a remote position.
