At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. You are currently registered as an apprentice in the province of Ontario.

We are looking for automotive technicians who can work independently and collaboratively with peers. Our full-service facility seeks skilled technicians to help create a successful environment!

Key abilities and responsibilities for a successful candidate:

• Engine repair, drivetrain/4WD/2WD repair, electrical and electronic system diagnostics and repair, performing alignments, steering and suspension diagnostics and repair, brake system diagnostics and repair, fuel and emission system diagnostics and repair, ignition and electrical system diagnostics and repair, automatic/manual transmission diagnostics and repair, HVAC system and MOPIA.
• Road testing vehicles (valid Class 5 license required).
• Completing reports to record problems and work performed.
• Ensuring proper procedures are followed by team members.
• MPI Safety Certification.
• Willingness to mentor apprentices for on-the-job training.
• MOPIA and A/C Certification - Preferred.
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own tools.
