Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the mechanical and electrical maintenance field.
• Capable of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Must possess a valid Class G driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Movement of rail equipment as required.
• Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled repairs on coaches.
• Complete interior and exterior inspections of the coach.
• Inspect equipment for dispatch readiness.
• Dump and charge coach toilets as needed.
• Perform repairs with various hand and power tools.
• Provide information to generate service requests and work orders.
• Travel off-site for repairs as required.

Skills

Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience

Recordkeeping skills

Good English reading, writing, and speaking

Familiarity with AC and DC power
