Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the mechanical and electrical maintenance field.
- Capable of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Must possess a valid Class G driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Movement of rail equipment as required.
- Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled repairs on coaches.
- Complete interior and exterior inspections of the coach.
- Inspect equipment for dispatch readiness.
- Dump and charge coach toilets as needed.
- Perform repairs with various hand and power tools.
- Provide information to generate service requests and work orders.
- Travel off-site for repairs as required.
Skills
Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
Recordkeeping skills
Good English reading, writing, and speaking
Familiarity with AC and DC power
Experience using power and hand tools
