Position Overview

Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Planner / Scheduler will develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules during all project phases, analyzing data and providing reports to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, scope, and estimates.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop project execution plans and schedules.
• Create integrated schedules using Primavera for various project stages.
• Generate schedules in different formats for diverse user needs.
• Identify critical and near-critical paths.
• Align schedules with project budgets and resource loads.
• Develop project control reports such as Bar Charts, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
• Review schedules submitted by other parties and update project schedules regularly.
• Analyze schedule issues, propose corrective actions, and forecast impacts on budgets and costs.
• Attend meetings and provide project control reports.
• Support training of junior schedulers.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Earned Value principles.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Access & Power BI is an asset.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Post-secondary education (BSc Engineering or C.E.T.) with 3-5 years of related experience.
• Flexible work schedule, valid driver’s license, and willingness for project assignments.
