A healthcare provider in Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District seeks a Cardiology Technologist to perform non-invasive cardiology procedures and maintain equipment. The ideal candidate will be certified by the CSCT and have recent experience in cardiology technology. Effective communication and teamwork are essential. This position requires a diploma in Cardiology Technology and the ability to handle related clerical duties required for managing patient records.

Reporting to the Manager or designate, and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Cardiology Technologist performs a variety of non-invasive cardiology procedures and routine maintenance of equipment. Using a personal computer and related software, performs database functions, including editing of electrocardiograms, storage and retrieval of cardiac records, and related clerical duties.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
