Job summary
A leading energy provider in Canada is seeking an Electronics & Instrumentation Technologist in Whitby, ON. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in areas such as electronics and instrumentation maintenance. Responsibilities encompass designing and calibrating essential equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety standards are met in potentially hazardous environments. Applicants should demonstrate extensive hands-on experience and proficiency in communication. OPG values integrity and is committed to an inclusive work atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience in an industrial/nuclear environment is an asset.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, develop, evaluate, repair, and calibrate equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs in an instrumentation lab.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various systems and equipment.
