The Manager, Software Development Engineering leads a team of technical experts in successfully executing technology projects and solutions that align with the strategy and have broad business impact.

The Manager, Software Development Engineering will work closely with development teams to identify and understand key features and their underlying functionality while also partnering closely with Product Management and UX Design.

They may exercise influence and govern overall end‑to‑end software development life cycle related activities including management of support and maintenance releases, minor functional releases, and major projects.

The Manager, Software Development Engineering will lead & provide technical guidance for process improvement programs while leveraging engineering best practices.

In this people leadership role, Managers will recruit, train, motivate, coach, grow and develop Software Development Engineer team members at a variety of levels through their technical expertise and providing continuous feedback to ensure employee expectations, customer needs and product demands are met.

In this opportunity as Manager Front-End Engineering, AI Platform, you will :

• Manage, coach, and provide technical support to the AI Platform engineering team across multiple initiatives.
• Socialize and align a wide variety of cross‑functional stakeholders to strategy, vision and roadmap of the AI platform services.
• Operate with urgency and manage change at a rapid pace.
• Serve as an expert resource to create and improve standards and best practices in complex and unstructured situations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.

You're a fit for the role of Manager, Front-End Engineering, AI Platform if your background includes :

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or the equivalent.
• Master's in a relevant specialization preferred.
• Professional experience with modern Javascript web frameworks, preferably React and Angular, automated testing for UI, and in-depth understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core Javascript concepts.
• Significant software development experience, with the demonstrated ability to successfully manage software development teams in an agile environment.
• A portfolio showcasing significant contributions to technology innovation.
• Excellent project management, organization and communication skills.
• Experience contributing to and overseeing large‑scale rollouts and infrastructure initiatives.
• Fundamental understanding of ML concepts, the new trends on AI, the Data Science life cycle, ML model development, and path to production.
