A leading tech company in São Paulo is seeking a Technical Program Manager. The role involves managing projects, coordinating between teams, and delivering strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in technical product management and software development. Expect to handle complex projects and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards. This position offers a chance to work within a supportive and inclusive environment, contributing to innovative solutions.
The Amazon International Technology Team is hiring a Technical Program Manager to work in our Sao Paulo dev center in Brazil. This role involves collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, designing technical solutions, driving project schedules from design to release, engaging in technical discussions with the software development team, and managing the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between your team and other teams to develop optimal solutions, make appropriate trade‑offs to optimize time‑to‑market, and clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross‑functional and remote project teams.
The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and have a well‑rounded technical background in current software development technologies. You must thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple competing priorities, and be able to develop and drive high‑level strategic initiatives while also rolling up your sleeves to get the job done. As a TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade‑offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them successfully and timely is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.
Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
