We are looking for a Backend Developer to join the team at Deliverect.

Role Overview:

As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to transforming the food service industry by designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that help restaurants manage orders efficiently across multiple channels. Your work will ensure our platform remains scalable, reliable, and capable of handling high volumes of data and requests.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services focused on order management, restaurant integrations, and data processing functionalities.
2. Implement testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure backend quality and stability.
3. Participate in code reviews, identify issues, and suggest improvements to maintain high coding standards.
4. Collaborate with API and front-end developers for seamless integration within the ecosystem.
5. Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs for communication between the platform and clients.
6. Work with cross-functional teams to align on processes and improve product offerings.
7. Innovate by proposing improvements to architecture, coding practices, and processes.
8. Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
9. Optimize backend code for efficiency and scalability.
10. Adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data.
11. Maintain an upper-intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
12. Have at least 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
13. Proficiency in Python and experience working with APIs and web services.
14. Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
15. Experience designing, developing, and documenting RESTful APIs.
16. Familiarity with web frameworks like Django or Flask.
17. Experience with Git, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
18. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), data warehousing, and API documentation tools.
