We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior / Lead Power BI Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in the CTO office for the part-time engagement. This role is freelance-friendly and youre welcome to combine it with other projects or commitments .The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing publishing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that turn data into critical insights and support business decision-making.

• Design develop and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient data visualizations.
• Connect to data sources import data and transform data for Business Intelligence.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimize existing Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and data engineers to understand data needs.
• Implement row-level security and manage access permissions.
• Create and maintain documentation of solutions and processes.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 35 years of experience in Power BI development or a similar BI role.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Strong experience in SQL and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service including workspaces dataflows and gateway configuration.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g. Looker Tableau Qlik).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g. Azure Data Factory Synapse Analytics).
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in performance tuning and report optimization.
