• Provide executive-level project management across a diverse portfolio of complex building code and zoning projects
• Coordinate directly with clients, architects, engineers, and the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) to secure timely approvals and resolve issues
• Review and sign off on plans to ensure strict compliance with NYC building codes and zoning regulations
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans; report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in building code, zoning, construction management, or a related field
• Required Certification: Active Class 2 DOB Filing Representative ID (Code & Zoning Representative) issued by the New York City Department of Buildings
• Proven record of leading large, complex projects and teams to successful completion
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• High proficiency with Windows applications, Bluebeam, MS Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Word

• Management experience strongly preferred; experience mentoring or supervising staff is a plus
• Familiarity with DOBNOW and deep knowledge of NYC building codes and expediting processes
