Job summary
A leading technology services firm in Dubai is seeking a skilled NodeJS Developer to enhance their UAE operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of asynchronous programming, experience in RESTful API development, and familiarity with Salesforce integrations. The role is full-time, requires 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, and mandates on-site work without remote options. Good communication skills and teamwork experience are essential as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies. Joining timeframe is within 4 weeks.
Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of experience in software development focused on NodeJS and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with Salesforce services.
Skills
We are currently looking for NodeJS Developer for our UAE operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.
- Proficiency in: Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs for seamless communication with Salesforce.
- Salesforce Integration: Familiarity with Salesforce APIs (REST SOAP) and the ability to integrate applications with Salesforce services.
- JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong skills in modern JavaScript (ES6) and/or TypeScript for scalable application development.
- Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB PostgreSQL) for data storage and retrieval.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Mocha Chai Jest) to ensure application reliability.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices using tools like Jenkins Travis CI or GitHub Actions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders especially regarding Salesforce-related topics.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams collaborating with Salesforce administrators and other developers.
- Salesforce Certifications: Any relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Developer Salesforce Administrator) can be a plus.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Products: Understanding of Salesforce services like Sales Cloud Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
