Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Dubai is seeking a General Accountant. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing VAT reports, and managing account reconciliations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Odoo, is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a general accountant.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting and account reconciliation.
- Experience with VAT and corporate tax reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification.
- Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end closing.

Job Description:
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper classification of all financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Prepare VAT and corporate tax reports and ensure compliance with tax authorities.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as general accountant with strong expertise in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software like Odoo is required.
