Job description

We're looking for a skilled Payroll Accountant with Oracle Fusion experience to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and contributing to the efficient operation of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multi-cycle payroll accurately and on time using Oracle Fusion Payroll.
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, leave, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Prepare and process payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll ledger accounts.
  • Manage employee data in Oracle Fusion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit all required payroll reports to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to payroll.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation related to Oracle Fusion Payroll.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to payroll processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or similar role.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll is essential.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
